The 2026 Future You Scholarship encourages students to imagine themselves five years after graduation and reflect on the journey that shaped them. Applicants should describe the challenges they overcame, the lessons they learned, and how those experiences influenced their character and career goals. Essays are due by August 31st, 2026.

Veritas Injury Lawyers is proud to sponsor the 14th Annual Spirit of the Valley Run, Walk ’n Roll on Saturday, September 12, 2026! This inclusive community event welcomes runners, walkers, wheelchair participants, strollers, adaptive bikes, and more for a morning filled with competition, fun, food, and rock ’n roll—all while supporting two important Western Slope programs. Proceeds will benefit the VA Recreational Therapy Program, which connects local disabled veterans with recreational opportunities such as fishing, kayaking, and biking, as well as Hilltop’s Latimer House, which provides critical support to individuals impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault. We’re honored to support an event that brings our community together while helping our neighbors heal, reconnect, and move forward.

The 16th Annual LawLaw Palooza will take place on October 21, 2026, benefiting the Pro Bono Project of Mesa County. This annual community event brings together live music, food and drinks, a silent auction, and networking for a great cause. Funds raised help provide critical legal resources to individuals in our community who may otherwise be unable to access the legal assistance they need. We’re honored to support the Pro Bono Project and an event that brings our local legal community together to help ensure our neighbors have access to justice when they need it most.

The Downtown Grand Junction Spooktacular, taking place on October 24, 2026, is a family-friendly Halloween celebration featuring games, costumes, trick-or-treating, and festive activities for the local community. The Grand Junction Lions Club Annual Parade is a longstanding community tradition that brings residents together for a festive afternoon of colorful floats, local organizations, and family-friendly entertainment in downtown Grand Junction. As part of the Lions Club’s largest annual fundraiser, the celebration also supports important community programs through a free carnival and raffle. Lady Cobras Fastpitch 16U Softball is a competitive youth softball team in the Grand Junction community dedicated to helping athletes grow through teamwork, skill development, and sportsmanship. The program provides young players with opportunities to compete at a high level while building confidence, leadership skills, and lasting friendships. Palisade High School Athletics provides student-athletes with opportunities to compete, grow, and represent their school across a variety of sports. The program emphasizes teamwork, dedication, sportsmanship, and academic success while bringing students, families, and the local community together to support the Bulldogs throughout the year. Veritas Injury Lawyers was proud to serve as a primary sponsor of the Grand Junction Harley Owners Group (HOG) Chapter’s 2025 Annual Holiday Toy Drive, a cherished local tradition dedicated to bringing holiday joy to children and families throughout Mesa County. The event took place on December 6, 2025, where there was a collection of new, unwrapped toys for children who may otherwise have gone without during the holiday season. As members of the local motorcycle community, the Veritas team was honored to support an event that reflects the spirit of generosity, connection, and giving back.
